Why “The bee, sentinel of the environment”?The bee, sentinel of the environment is the theme of this 41st Congress. At a time when the bee is facing record mortality levels, on average 300.000 colonies have died out each year since 1995 in France, the survival of this precious insect is of strategic importance which goes beyond the world of beekeeping… The bee works each day for us. Its survival is a challenge that concerns us all.
